Porto Platanias Village Resort

Lovely resort on a fine location. Nice pool area and a fun little waterpark with four slides. Be prepared to pay a quite large entrance fee to the small waterpark (15e/person). Very basic breakfast with super friendly staff. Pack your earplugs if you are a light sleeper, for you will be able to hear all the noises happening outside your room loud and clear. This didn’t bother others in our party since I was the only super light sleeper, though :)

What a vacation. The watergym guy Dimitar WOW WHAT A GUY, he was so friendly, a master at darts and shuffleboard. Would recomend this place for everyone. The food was good, The place was nice, the bartender was perfect, especially Stavros. The rooms were clean and cozy, I will definetly come back.

We went all inclusive. It is a Very pretty hotel, loved the pretty flowers around the hotel. You could see that the hotel was well maintained. We ended up with a huge 2 bedroom apartment with an amazing sea view. The balcony was huge like a penthouse suite. We didn’t expect this at all , so thank you so much for this. The pool area was nice and clean, but we did notice a few loose tiles lying around. You do have to get up early for a sun bed otherwise you will not get a bed at all. The food was repetitive , but it was nice. At the restaurant you did have to wait to be seated , which I’ve never experienced before. Usually you can just walk in and sit where you want, but here you were shown to a table. Not a big deal but it would just have been easier to walk in to the restaurant and find a table you want. My children made loads of friends there , and used the water slides daily which is free for all inclusive guests . The cocktails were amazing , but the beer didn’t taste the best. The rooms were cleaned daily , they were spotless . The staff were all so lovely at the hotel and made you feel welcome. Good location , everything was on the doorstep in terms of shops, bars and restaurants. The hotel did not have evening entertainment at all, and very limited in the day. There was darts , and aqua aerobics in the day. The sister hotel did all the evening entertainment across the road but this was even limited. Overall I enjoyed my holiday and so did my children. I was sad to leave, and we did have a good experience. The Greek people are some of the nicest people you can meet, and very welcoming!

We spent an amazing week in Porto Platanias Village. The rooms were spacious and tidy, a lot of delicious food options to choose from, the staff was also very kind and helpful, especially in the restaurant. The hotel Porto Platanias Beach offers a wide range of various activities, including things for kids that our daughter absolutely loved (especially two animators - Hristiana as Elsa, and Tedi as Super Mario). Great hotel! Everything was clean, the food was tasty, and the service was excellent. The animation team made the stay extra fun especially Dimitriy, who was always full of energy and super friendly. Highly recommended, and I would definitely come back!

Do not hesitate to book this hotel run don't walk! Food 10-10 something for everyone, a vast choice (even with a fussy eater) Dairy free section, too! On arrival at the restaurant you are asked your room number shown to a table all dressed set lovely, everything is self service food, drinks all help your self! Drinks again 10-10 local alcohol and cocktails BIG shout out to Renay the pool bar man he is absolutely fantastic kind funny knowledgeable a credit to this hotel. Rooms are on the small side (they have a fridge & kettle in them), but you're on holiday. What more do you want?! Beds made everyday room tidy & clean everyday ckan towels every day! even washed a glass up that had been left on the side!!!! On arrival a sandwich box with water was left in the fridge for us. This is one of the most clean hotels I've visited. The staff do not stop! Sunbed are plenty no sunbed wars 😂pools are on the cold side 😂 Everyone is so friendly always say Hello when passing by. Whilst we were here, my auntie had her 70th birthday. we visited the Al a cart restaurant across the road in the sister hotel where the hotel organised a birthday cake, it is the little touches that make all the difference. The only negative is check-in was a palaver the Man didn't seem to know what he was doing and reportedly asked for a credit/debit card with 5k€ on it to which we refused point blank eventually he did the check in and told me to speak with management in the morning! (Which i did and it turned out to be a language barrier and misunderstanding and hed also given us the wrong wrist bands everything was rectifiedthe next morning) We was shown to our rooms as I've said very pleased we them and fantastic holiday was had by all we would absolutely return without hesitation. Perfect location close to transport links into the center, short walk to the beach, out the hotel your on the main ***** of shops bars restaurants. Highly recommend 👌
